Silent Hill 2 Review

Silent Hill

As someone who’s a huge fan of survival horror, having enjoyed classics like Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village, I can confidently say that Silent Hill 2 has completely captivated me—even though I haven’t finished it yet. This game is everything I’ve been looking for in the genre, and it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorites. - Chris Robinson

Simply 10/10 for me .. I never got the chance to play the original classic so this was a breath of fresh air Let me start by saying it’s just beautifully done .. the atmosphere.. the story line is so captivating with so many interesting characters, the combat .. the navigating You’ve gotta love the little details in this game, from abandoned letters ..to secrete doors and corridors .. it simply doesn’t end This game definitely posed a challenge, we’re so used to the cliche horror games where you are in a safe environment when opening the menu or navigating you inventory or map.. in silent hill there is NO SUCH THING AS A SAFE PLACE .. it simply doesn’t give up .. you could be calmly navigating your map to see exactly where to go when next thing you know your radio is going crazy There is no sense of guidance in this game and I mean that in a good way .. you make your own choices .. you make your own way (obviously some parts of the story have to be linear ) but most of it is pretty much at your will .. your decisions affect every aspect of the game .. so chose carefully as you might miss some stuff and will not be able to go back Overall .. I have never pre ordered a game in my life until this one .. and I don’t regret it at all 10/10 If you’re looking for some tense gameplay .. buy it ! Efren Luis Rodriguez

Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

I have been counting down the days (literally-on a marker board) until black ops 6 came out for 60 days. A few days before the new COD released, I considered purchasing Silent Hill 2 as I was looking for a game to fill my time. I am a newfound fan of Resident Evil and after beating all of the RE's, every other horror game has let me down as they did not live up to my expectations. I was way too young to play the original Silent Hill 2 when it released and I have never played any other SH title. Anyways, I just beat my first playthrough and I am literally OBSESSED. My mind has completely blown. This is my favorite video game of all time. I love playing 3rd person over the shoulder games with combat and puzzles in unique settings with realistic atmospheres and SH2R nails these aspects like no other!! I could go on for days but I don't want to spoil anything...you should just buy it! I feel crazy for almost not trying this game and I would like to go back in time and smack myself with a lead pipe for not playing this game sooner. This is my GOTY 2024 easily!!! I am very hopeful that this franchise can make a comeback and I am so impressed by Bloober team. They did an amazing job and shout out to the genius minds that came up with this game so long ago. - Jonathan Bruce

I believed that Black Ops 6 would have an engaging storyline, but with each new part of the franchise, it becomes increasingly sparse. I enjoyed Black Ops Cold War more. They allowed us to play the BO6 storyline for free for a week to compete with Battlefield 6, but it turned out to be much better - KronG

Ghost Of Yotei

Ghost of Yōtei

Ghost of Yotei is a refined and visually stunning sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, favoring evolution over reinvention. Atsu’s revenge-driven story and her mastery of diverse weapon styles deliver fluid, impactful combat that feels both elegant and brutal. - Dot Esports

Ghost of Yotei is more of what made Ghost of Tsushima so compelling; terrific combat, a memorable protagonist, and a gorgeous world playing host to it all. It's not perfect, there are a few edges to this sword that could have been sharpened, but there are not enough to take away from an incredible experience. I cannot recommend it enough. - Restatr.run

I love Ghost of Yōtei. I adore the classic mold of Atsu’s revenge tale - it’s the kind of story for which “formulaic” is more compliment than criticism. I appreciate how rich a toybox has been provided in its combat. I give it immense credit for the transformative way it uses passive enhancements to so strongly influence a player’s active playstyle...It’s a beautiful production full of mechanically enriching treats that can make a player feel like the sports car of assassins. Seriously, when is Sucker Punch going to make a John Wick game? All told, I’d say this is some of the sleekest, tastiest action I’ve seen from the big budget space in a long, long time. - The Jimquisition
